Thank you for your interest in the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Chinmaya Mission Washington Regional Center (CMWRC) - CHINMAYA SOMNATH at Herndon, VA.

 Venue for 2011-2012 Acdemic Year: Herndon High School, 700 Bennett St, Herndon, VA 20170.

Open House:  11 September 2011

Eligibility for Bala Vihar: Minimum Age of 4 years. Younger siblings of children attending Bala Vihar can attend the Madhuram A0 class, as long as they are three years or older and potty trained.

Bala Vihar Sessions: Sunday morning(9:50am-11:30am); Sunday afternoon (1:20pm-3:00pm).  

Prioritization of Registrants for Bala Vihar Sessions:
While we would love to accommodate everyone in their first choice Bala Vihar session, constraints with respect to parking, assembly hall or classroom capacity, or teacher to student ratio may dictate otherwise. In such cases sessions will be filled on a first come-first served priority basis, with additional consideration given to teachers and other sevaks critical to smooth operation of the program. A registrant's first-come-first-served priority will be established only upon completion of ALL the registration requirements defined in Section 8 of the Registration Instructions. Assignment of registrants to morning and afternoon sessions will be finalized by a Chinmaya Somnath coordination team based on the above principles.

With the inauguration of Chinmaya Somnath at Herndon, we are looking forward to an exciting Bala Vihar year in the service of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji, Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, and with the guidance of Pujya Swami Dheeranandaji, Acharya Vilasiniji, Acharya Anant Sarmaji, Acharya Pramilaji and Acharya Sadanandaji.
